Soil Health Conferences

The Ocean County Soil Conservation District has worked alongside its partners to develop and implement two successful Soil Health Conferences. These conferences offered professionals including farmers, engineers, landscape architects, soil scientists, planners, regulators, builders, landscape contractors the opportunity to expand their knowledge of soil health by taking workshops offered by soil experts. Demonstrations including the use of a VertiQuake, Amoozemeter, and other tools were also included in the conference, giving people without access to such information a unique look at the testing and amendment of impacted soils.
